A career built around making difficult ideas understandable
Donna Cox holds a magna cum laude Mathematics degree from Salve Regina University and was a National Merit Finalist.
Donna spent the first thirty years of her professional career in the computer industry as a programmer, systems analyst and trainer. She has also edited papers, articles and books for many colleagues.
As a computer trainer, Donna specialized in entry-level training for people who were uncomfortable with computers. She developed a patient and encouraging style that translated naturally into her SAT tutoring.
Donna has prepared students for the SAT and ACT since 2003. Among hundreds of her students in the classes of 2004 through 2023, the average SAT score increase was more than 180 points. She has also worked with students who achieved perfect scores on the PSAT, SAT and ACT.
She has also helped hundreds of students brainstorm and polish college application essays, with that work going back to 2002.
